1. Arrival: The lodge will be available to you from 4pm on the day of arrival. The keys will be left for you in the front door letter box once the lodge has been set up for your arrival;
2. Departure: Check-out time on the day of departure is 10am. Please leave the lodge keys back in the front door letterbox;
3. Pets: We do not accept any pets at this property;
4. Cancellation policy: If you cancel prior to the holiday arrival date you may be due a partial refund from the Owner. The refund will depend on the amount of notice you give us before the holiday start date. In all other circumstances, the refund will be calculated as follows:
• 21 or less days’ notice – No refund due
• 22-35 days’ notice – 10% of the total accommodation cost
• 36-49 days’ notice – 20% of the total accommodation cost
• 50-63 days’ notice – 40% of the total accommodation cost
• More than 63 days’ notice – 100% of the total accommodation cost If a refund is due please contact us by email – rhosllynretreats@gmail.com, providing details of where the refund is to be deposited. We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which can be obtained from any good insurance broker;
5. Prices & payment: The price of the accommodation includes the following: Electricity, Linen & Towels, Cleaning at the end of your stay, Hot Water, Heating and use of the WiFi. For all bookings, we require a deposit of 20% to confirm the booking. You must make sure that this reaches us within 5 days of making the booking. Full payment is due 9 weeks before arrival, or at the time of booking if your stay is to be within 9 weeks of booking;
6. PCI compliance: Any card details given to Rhosllyn Retreats to secure a booking are managed under PCISS guidance;
7. Non-availability of accommodation: We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation in the local area. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for your stay. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund;
8. Covid symptoms whilst staying at the cottage: If you develop Covid-19 symptoms whilst staying at the cottage, then it is a requirement of the Welsh Government that you return to your primary residence immediately. If you are too ill to travel then please be aware that you will be charged the full cost of your extended stay and for any additional costs incurred. You must inform us by telephone on 07967542086 that you have developed Covid-19 symptoms;
9. Damages, breakages and missing items: We do not normally charge for minor breakages. Guests are responsible for any losses from damage caused to the rooms, furnishings or fittings and equipment in them by any omission, default or neglect and will pay on demand the amount required by the owner to make good or remedy any such damage or loss. If the cottage is un-lettable due to the damage then additional loss of business charges may be applied. Failure to comply or to report any damage may be charged automatically to the customer card used at the time of booking. We reserve the right to charge for missing items;
10. Liability: We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment;
11. Smoking: Smoking is prohibited throughout the cottage. In the event this condition is not complied with, we will terminate your booking immediately without any liability for refund or compensation. A cleaning fee of £80 will be charged to any guest who does not abide by this no-smoking condition;
12. Lost property: We are happy to return items that have been left behind following departure. We will normally not charge you for this, however a charge for postage and packaging will be made in the cost of postage is over £3.20.
