Set in the secluded surroundings of Mid-Wales with scenic lake views this is a perfect location to recharge your mind, body and soul. Each lodge sleeps between 2 and 8 people so are perfect for couples, families and small groups and for larger groups just hire both.

Located close to the picturesque market town of Rhayader, dubbed the outdoor capital of Wales and the breathtaking reservoirs of the Elan Valley, you have every opportunity to get outdoors and connect with the beautiful natural surroundings. Whether you enjoy a leisurely scenic walk or a fast-paced mountain bike trail there's something for everyone.

The lodge is incredible and so clean, it has everything you need and the owner is so lovely and helpful. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

Having games room and hot tub and a farm just round the back were such great entertainment bonuses, especially when the weather wasn't that great. Andrew was so patient and answered all our farm questions and took us around the farm. The actual cottage is so luxurious and comfortable with plenty space for all the guests. Hot tub & covered verandah were great & well used. Lovely base for exploring the stunning Elan Valley. Great communications with Andrew & Katie and a nice warm welcome. We'll definitely be back! Just back from a fantastic weeks holiday at Lake Side Lodge, Lodge beautifully decorated, clean and spacious my 8 month old granddaughter loved the open plan inside and the decking outside great for her walker, very child friendly, my grandson 6 loved the garden great for watching kites flying, cricket, ball games and fishing on Lake even though he didn't catch anything, plenty to do in the area elan reservoir, Llandrindod Wells Park and much more, had a lovely meal in the triangle pub Rhayader home cooked and local sourced ingredients, owners lovely give us plenty of information about area, all very sad to leave the week flew by

We had a 4 night stay...6 adults and 2 small children....the lodge has been done to an immaculate standard and its a credit to the owner who is most helpful and friendly. The rooms are beautiful....the kitchen is fantastically stocked with every possible utensil needed. The hot tub was a massive hit...especially with the children. My grandson didnt want to leave and he is only 2..... We will definately be back......

The Lodge was beautiful, a great location overlooking a lake, sparkling clean inside and out and to a very high standard. We would love to return and would highly recommend! The owners were very accommodating and responsive to any questions that we had. There is also anther lodge on-site which is identical and although they are very private from each other they also worked well for us renting both lodges for a larger group gathering.
